Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to build a solid technical foundation in fabrication, assembly and new technology integration. You’ll contribute to continuous improvement, cost-out initiatives and future MEDP/OMLP pathways after graduation.

You will learn manufacturing methods, support component machining and engine assembly, and apply Lean/Six Sigma to drive productivity while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Enrollment in a full-time registered bachelor’s or graduate program.
• Willingness to work across GE Aerospace U.S. locations.
• Reliable transportation for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Learn state-of-the-art manufacturing methods and processes.
• Support assembly and repair processes for engine components.
• Apply risk analysis, root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Uphold safety standards via EHS initiatives.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to improve productivity and delivery.
