Job summary

Hendrickson in Chattanooga is seeking energized students for the PATH Student Program internships and co-ops in manufacturing engineering. You will help optimize plant layout, develop standard work instructions, and assist in tool design for drum manufacturing, while building strong data processing and analytical skills.

Enrolled in a bachelor’s program (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering), with Sophomore or Senior status preferred; prior co-op experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a manufacturing-related field.
  • Strong computer skills including spreadsheets and databases.
  • Preference for sophomore or senior status and prior co-op experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in updating plant layout to optimize production.
  • Develop standardized work instructions for the facility.
  • Support tool design for drum manufacturing processes.
  • Contribute to data processing and numeric analyses.
