Job summary

Humanetics Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to perform entry-level engineering tasks and support project work within the manufacturing environment in Ohio. The role focuses on applying best practices, improving material flow, and setting cycle times to streamline operations.

The internship includes exposure to CAD, engineering change processes, and GD&T concepts, with a final live presentation to management detailing the experience and learnings.

Qualifications

  • 2-year technical degree required (or actively pursuing 4-year Engineering degree).
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) technical preferred.

Job description

Role Purpose:

The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will complete routine or entry-level engineering work and assist with engineering projects.

Supporting continuous improvement in various manufacturing processes

Reducing manufacturing costs

Improving the flow of material

Setting up cycle times

Performs other related duties as assigned

Other Significant Role Requirements:

Basic Understanding of CAD

Basic understanding of engineering change process preferred

Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred

Education and/or Experience:

2-year technical degree required (or actively pursuing 4-year Engineering degree)

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) technical preferred
