Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated offers a 10–12 week internship designed to give students hands-on experience in manufacturing operations. The program focuses on documenting tooling knowledge using Inventor and AutoCAD, advancing Lean initiatives, and developing standard work for sustainable processes.

The intern will support operations, work on value-added projects, and present findings to the local management team at the conclusion of the program.

Qualifications

  • Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship program period (May-August 2027).
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the internship.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (required).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Document critical tooling knowledge using Inventor and AutoCAD.
  • Advance Lean initiatives and develop standard work.
  • Create sustainable processes and documentation for long-term operational success.
  • Support manufacturing operations and participate in team projects.
  • Present outcomes to local management at program end.
