Job summary

H3X Technologies is seeking an advanced manufacturing engineering intern to support the low volume production line across the HPDM product lines. This is not an ordinary internship.

You will be given the full responsibility of a manufacturing engineer on a fast-moving team delivering new processes and improvements. You will work with design engineers to establish production requirements, design tools and fixtures, validate new processes, and lead Lean initiatives while pursuing a Mechanical

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Hands-on experience assembling mechanical systems
• SolidWorks proficient
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organized and strong attention to detail
• Exceptional understanding of engineering fundamentals
• Action biased, results-driven mentality
• Willingness to learn quickly

Responsibilities

• Work with design engineers to establish production requirements
• Conceptualize new and novel approaches to solve manufacturing problems
• Propose new materials, fixture concepts, equipment or other
• Design tools and fixtures to improve manufacturing processes
• Analyze recurring manufacturing discrepancies and implement solutions
• Collaborate with design engineers on implementation of manufacturing feedback
• Execute first application and testing of new fixtures and process improvements
• Interface with manufacturing engineers and assembly technicians
• Create, implement, and revise process plans and mBOMs to support production
• Lead LEAN manufacturing processes in support of continuous improvement initiatives
