Job summary

TSI is offering a Manufacturing Engineering Summer Internship in Shoreview, MN. You will work with experienced engineers, contribute to real projects, and develop practical skills in a high-tech manufacturing setting.

The internship runs ~12 weeks in Summer 2027, ~40 hours per week, with hourly pay of $22–$23 depending on qualifications. You will gain exposure to manufacturing docs, CAD tools, lean concepts, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• Currently enrolled as a full-time student.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 (4.0 scale).
• Experience with CAD and technical drawings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing engineering projects to improve quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Create, revise, and maintain manufacturing docs, drawings, and BOMs.
• Analyze data, investigate issues, and identify process improvements.
• Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Support implementation of engineering changes and process updates.
• Gain exposure to SAP and other manufacturing tools.
