Job summary

TSI is offering an Engineering Technician Summer Internship to gain hands-on experience in a real project environment. You will work with engineering professionals, learn the product development lifecycle, and contribute on a project team using state-of-the-art tools.

The program runs for 12 weeks in Summer 2027, with roughly 40 hours per week and an hourly pay rate of $19–$20, offering valuable lab experience and a pathway to future opportunities at TSI.

Qualifications

• Major in Electronic Technology or Robotics.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale).
• Currently enrolled as a full-time student.
• Comfortable in a lab environment.
• Strong desire to learn and be self-motivated.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Construct, evaluate, and troubleshoot prototype devices.
• Oscilloscope probing techniques.
• Record test results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations.
• Use CAD software to support engineering activities.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Soldering skills.

Pay & Benefits:

• 12-week (approx.) internship program – Summer 2027
• This position pays an hourly rate of $19.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
• Interns work approximately 40 hours each week during the internship
• Eligible for time off in compliance with applicable state laws
