Job summary

TSI Incorporated in Shoreview, MN, invites you to join a 12-week Summer 2027 Engineering Technician internship. You will work on a real project with engineering professionals, learning product development and using state-of-the-art test equipment and tools.

We offer approx. 40 hours/week, an hourly rate of $19.00–$20.00, and a supportive lab environment. Space is limited and state law requirements apply; parking and free beverages are provided.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Comfortable working in a lab environment.
• Strong desire to learn and be self-motivated.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist on real engineering projects as part of a team.
• Learn new product development processes in a lab setting.
• Work with electronic measurement instruments and development tools.
• Attend reviews and contribute to project milestones.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Major/Program: Electronic Technology or Robotics
• Maintain a minimum CUM 3.0 GPA (based on a 4.0 scale)
• Student Status: Currently enrolled as a full-time student
• Comfortable in a lab environment
• Strong desire to learn, self-motivated
• Naturally high attention to detail, good organization skills

Pay & Benefits:

• 12-week (approx.) internship program - Summer 2027
• This position pays an hourly rate of $19.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
• Interns work approximately 40 hours each week during the internship
• Eligible for time off in compliance with applicable state laws
• Pay amount does not guarantee employment for any particular period of time.
