Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in McConnellsburg, PA. You will support the Manufacturing Engineering team by auditing instructions, improving material handling, performing time studies and aiding in fixture/tooling input.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across fabrication, machining, ERP systems and plant layout. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering with a 3.0 GPA or higher and are proficient

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical or related Engineering field.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.

Responsibilities

• Audit and update work instructions, routings and bills of materials.
• Improve material handling methods.
• Perform time studies.
• Develop methods in fabrication and machining processes.
• Perform workstation/cell analyses to improve productivity and quality.
• Provide technical support to production personnel.
• Provide input for manufacturing fixtures and tooling.
• Assist with plant layout and workstation design.
• Learn and use ERP manufacturing software.
• Create documentation for new product launches.

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering
