Job summary

Enerpac Tool Group is seeking engineering intern talent to provide hands-on support for production, improving fixturing, and contributing to new product development projects. You will engage in assembly process design, documentation, and the creation or adaptation of tooling and equipment.

You will collaborate with an experienced Manufacturing Engineering team, participate in Lean events, and help drive continuous improvement across the plant and other departments.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering program (Mechanical or Industrial preferred).
• Strong teamwork attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work with production floor staff and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Soliciting, support and addressing CI ideas from production areas.
• Preparing studies and reports for estimates, progress and evaluation.
• Daily interaction with Quality, Production Supervision, and Supply Chain to support production needs.
• Verifying all work on projects including layouts, details, calculations for safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Support design for manufacturability and test with fixtures and tooling.
