Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to provide technical leadership in identifying manual and automated equipment for manufacturing and conveyor assembly. You will profile equipment manufacturers, support process development, and develop equipment specification documentation.

You will work with management to assess vendor capabilities, introduce new process technologies, maximize capital utilization, and minimize time to volume while ensuring safety and quality

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• Advanced Excel skills, especially with formulas and data manipulation, preferred.
• Working knowledge of a 3D modeling software package; SolidWorks preferred.
• Previous experience using calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc., preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Material Flow supporting Plan for Every Part Concept.
• Develop visual aids and work instructions for engineering and other functions, as assigned.
• Assist quality by measuring manufactured parts, comparing accuracy to drawings, and developing quality plans/procedures.
• Assist in design/drawing creation for engineered products and system using 3D modeling software.
• Assist with creation of a Value Stream Mapping (VSM) current vs. optimal.
• Assist in product performance testing and analysis of failed products.
• Adhering to all assembly safety standards.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
