The Manufacturing Engineering contractor at Vander-Bend Manufacturing will work with the Manufacturing Engineering Department supporting Operations of product, process and manufacturing activities. This is an entry level position in the Manufacturing in the Engineering Department.
May recommend expenditures for approval by Manufacturing Engineers or Management.
Interacts closely, primarily with Manufacturing Engineers and Operations functional groups.
Works on problems of minor scope, using initiative to recommend problem resolution or improvements. Any improvement activities are subject to a Manufacturing Engineer review and approval.
Receives supervision from the Manufacturing Engineering and Continuous Improvement Manager, with daily (or weekly) guidance and direction from a Manufacturing Engineer.
A student attending post high school education or contractor, actively working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or closely related major.
