Job summary
DTNA in Byesville, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support plant operations with process improvements, tooling and fixture design, and manufacturing projects that boost safety, quality and productivity. You’ll work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams on Lean initiatives and gain hands-on experience in machine design, plant layouts, and documentation.

Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's program or recently graduated within 1 year.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
- Familiar with CAD, machine design and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Draft and design tooling, fixtures, and workstations to support manufacturing needs and process improvements.
- Support industrial engineering studies, time studies, plant layouts and workstation development.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, vendors, and leadership on product specifications and process enhancements.
- Apply problem-solving techniques to analyze production issues and develop practical solutions.
