Job summary

Cincinnati Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op in Harrison, OH to gain hands-on experience improving manufacturing processes, equipment, safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll work with experienced engineers and production teams while gaining exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, process improvement, data analysis, cycle-time studies, and material flow.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline relevant to manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with good communication skills.
• Willingness to work hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with data analysis and use of Microsoft Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist Kaizen teams and support Lean initiatives.
• Collect, enter, and analyze manufacturing data to identify improvements.
• Support 5S activities and plant-floor improvements.
• Perform cycle-time studies and help establish production standards.
• Assist with process layouts and material flow improvements.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, waste, downtime, and scrap.
• Recommend and support improvements to manufacturing processes.
• Assist Continuous Improvement Manager with lean activities that support production goals.
