Job summary

  • Excellent communication, documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Cumulative GPA 2.7 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Right to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement: Use Lean tools and Kaizen to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Technical Support: Assist engineers in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and solving manufacturing issues.
  • Project Management: Support NPI by developing procedures, documenting workflows, and managing equipment layouts.
  • Tooling/Design: Assist in designing jigs, fixtures, and tooling using CAD software.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data, labor standards, and quality defects.
  • Learn Nexteer Automotive processes within and beyond Plant 4.
