nVent's Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op in Anoka, Minnesota offers hands-on project management exposure, lean initiatives, and mentorship with senior engineers. You will learn manufacturing processes, assist with equipment moves, resolve quality issues, and analyze data to improve layouts and labor standards.
This paid hourly internship requires a Bachelor’s in progress with SolidWorks and AutoCAD skills, US work authorization, and prior internship experience.

Tools include but are not limited to Standard work, 3-P, TPM, SMED, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, 5S
Participate in cross-functional lean Kaizen events to broaden expertise and apply lean methods to eliminate waste
Participate in the coordination of periodic updates of progress during events
Use Lean techniques to aid in performance of process reviews and establishing standardized work procedures
Interns and Co-ops are paid hourly for time worked at $25.00 per hour. Relocation and housing support is available for eligible candidates. Interns and Co-ops receive paid time off, paid sick time, paid volunteer time, and paid holidays. Interns and Co-ops who demonstrate outstanding performance may be offered a subsequent internship/co-op or full-time offer of employment with nVent.
