Job summary

Greenheck Group invites you to join our Knoxville, TN team as an Engineering Co-op from January to August 2027. You will support daily production by creating and updating SOPs, troubleshooting machines, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The role is ideal for an enrolled bachelor's student in Mechanical, Industrial, Technology, Manufacturing or Applied Engineering programs who is on track to graduate within 3 semesters, with hands-on curiosity and basic hand tool experience.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a related bachelor’s degree program (Mechanical, Industrial, Technology, Manufacturing or Applied Engineering etc.)
• On track to graduate in the next 3 semesters or less
• Interest in hands‑on learning
• Curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced, innovative environment
• Experience working with basic hand tools
• Experience with 3D modeling software (a plus) to expand your technical toolkit and design capabilities
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to support customer‑focused solutions

Responsibilities

• As a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op you will support daily production by creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures, troubleshooting machines, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• You’ll also contribute to layout design and process development to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across our operations.
