Job summary
Jobot seeks an experienced engineering professional to drive value engineering and cost modeling for MedTech manufacturing projects. You will assess processes, tooling, and data to craft competitive quotes and growth strategies.
The role collaborates with IT/ERP, engineering Centers of Excellence, and accounting to optimize spend and ROI, employing Industry 4.0 and Lean practices for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
- Minimum five years in value/industrial engineering and manufacturing costing.
- Experience with Industry 4.0/Lean practices.
- Experience with Contract Manufacturer or OEM.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze blueprints, specs, model files, and data to prepare simulations and cost models for manufacturing projects.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Solutions Architecture to win new business opportunities.
- Refine quotations using cost data, tooling costs, lead times, and resource utilization.
- Develop internal business cases and ROI for CapEx spending with Accounting partners.
