Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as Manufacturing/Process Engineer in transformer or related manufacturing.
• Experience with CAD for layout and process design.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize processes for distribution transformers focusing on efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Design and implement machinery, layouts, and workflow improvements.
• Run process simulations to predict issues and identify solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Document processes with SOPs, flow diagrams, and specifications.
• Perform FMEA to identify risks and preventive actions.
• Support commissioning/decommissioning of lines with minimal disruption.
