Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 4+ years related experience in the connector industry preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical product drawings.
• Strong tool design experience and Creo skills are desired.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, write reports and present information.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document assembly tooling for new or existing products.
• Develop and document assembly processes, including SOPs and spare parts lists.
• Define process steps, material handling and preliminary layouts.
• Define process flexibility and equipment requirements for product configurations.
• Prepare process specifications and equipment/system requirements.
• Define supply chain from raw material to customer application.
• Analyze cycle times, efficiency, yields, and balance for lines.
• Contribute to Product/Process FMEA and risk assessments.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities for mature processes.
