Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Minnesota seeks a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer to support weld tooling, templates, and assembly tooling. The role focuses on designing tooling, planning assembly processes, and updating SOPs to improve efficiency.

You will drive continuous improvement, validate rack/carts load capacity, and assist in 5S line implementations. Collaboration with projects and customers is essential to deliver cost-reduced manufacturing flows.

Qualifications

• Experience with weld tooling/templates and their components.
• Provide complete manufacturing/industrial engineering support.
• Design and implement weld and assembly tooling.
• Plan assembly processes for efficient production.
• Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Support continuous improvement and 5S line implementation.

Responsibilities

• Daily follow up with projects and interaction with customers.
• Support continuous improvement processes across projects.
• Assist 5S line implementation and shopfloor housekeeping.
• Validate racks and carts based on load capacity.
• Design and validate templates and special purpose tools.
• Develop manufacturing process flows aimed at cost reductions.
