Job summary

Target Rock is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the machine shop production and personnel in East Farmingdale, NY. You will generate manufacturing methods, design tooling and fixtures, and assist with CNC programming methods across the facility.

Join a team that values hands-on problem solving, quality, and collaborative execution. Requires an associate degree and 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience, plus Mastercam CAD/CAM familiarity.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen
• Ability to methodize parts with minimum supervision
• Knowledge of machine shop practices and techniques
• Design and overview tool and fixturing requirements for manufacturing components
• Basic knowledge of raw materials and machinability
• Ability to define feeds - speeds for established manufacturing processes
• Ability to generate CAD drawings
• Ability to analyze manufacturing equipment or tooling problems and implement solutions
• Knowledge of CNC machine tools
• Ability to comprehend information daily and make decisions

Responsibilities

• Generates Operation Sheets and Operation Sketches to support all phases of manufacturing within the facility.
• Designs necessary tooling and fixtures required to support manufacturing processes.
• Maintain all applicable manufacturing project documentation.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
• Support Manufacturing Engineering Department in the absence of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer.
