Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to improve equipment performance across roll forming, press, automation, and assembly. You will lead design, improvement, and problem solving to reduce downtime and increase OEE, partnering with operations and vendors.

You will drive capital projects, support automation integration, and develop robust, scalable tooling solutions while ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in roll forming or press processes.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD; familiar with Lean tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve tooling and equipment across roll forming, press operations, and assembly processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on tooling design, procurement, and implementation.
• Optimize machine setups, changeovers, and tooling performance to reduce downtime and scrap.
• Ensure equipment and tooling readiness for new product integration.
• Lead capital equipment and process improvement projects from concept through execution.
