Job summary

Giga Energy in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer, Switchboards, to own production process control, shop floor efficiency, and facility reliability for switchboard and control panel assembly operations.

The role bridges production, engineering, quality, and facilities to ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and consistent product quality across UL891 switchboards, UL67 panel boards, and related control wiring projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3-5+ years in manufacturing or electrical panel environments.
• Proven experience improving shop floor processes and labor efficiency.
• Experience creating routings, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Ability to lead or support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with fixtures, jigs, or tooling improvements for panel fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Own production process control, shop floor efficiency, and facility reliability for switchboard and panel assembly.
• Create and maintain production routings aligned with actual shop floor practices.
• Enforce standardized work to drive consistency and reduce variability.
• Design fixtures and tooling to cut cycle time and costs.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions with Quality.
• Support materials management, production control, and inventory activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve production issues in real time.
• Ensure UL891/UL67 compliance and follow-up service requirements.
