Job summary

Castelion in Midland, TX, is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist to support solid rocket motor production for our research vehicles. You will work with engineering teams to execute technical builds, advance manufacturing processes, and ensure quality and safety through rigorous documentation.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in aerospace manufacturing, experience with drawings/blueprints, and demonstrated leadership. The role may require extended hours and up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Reading drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient with manufacturing metrology and quality assurance processes.
• Demonstrated direct or indirect leadership ability.
• Ability to work in a remote environment with limited support.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering to transform concepts into reality.
• Batch and mix precursor chemicals.
• Create and record testing and quality control measurements.
• Verify flight hardware and document outcomes.
• Develop manufacturing processes for initial production runs.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure production readiness.
