Description
We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer – Senior to join our team in Columbus, IN. In this role, you will:
- Ensure Safety Compliance: Create and implement manufacturing processes that meet safety requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
- Achieve Manufacturing Goals: Drive the achievement of manufacturing and business goals, ensuring product specifications are met.
- Improve Equipment and Processes: Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing equipment and processes using your manufacturing knowledge.
- Utilize Continuous Improvement Tools: Leverage continuous improvement tools and follow Cummins standards to drive ongoing enhancements.
- Develop Standards and Methods: Lead the development of manufacturing standards and working methods for consistency and quality.
- Influence Stakeholders: Use your communication skills to influence external stakeholders, business leaders, and team members.
- Manage Project Assignments: Lead specific project assignments with internal and external resources for successful outcomes.
- Coach and Maintain Relationships: Support stakeholder development and foster a positive work environment through relationship management and coaching.

Qualifications
Education, Licenses, Certifications: Degree in STEM or related field, or equivalent experience. Licensing may be required for compliance.
Experience: Intermediate relevant work experience.
Additional Information
This role primarily supports Cold Test cells at CMEP and involves additional Manufacturing Engineering responsibilities within the Post Assembly area. Skills/knowledge beneficial include engine performance, diagnostics, data analysis, and familiarity with engine test cell equipment.
This is a fully ONSITE role. Salary range: $85,600 - $128,400, determined by experience and qualifications.
