Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to own the end-to-end production lifecycle for the Altius family. You will drive design for manufacturability, optimize high-rate lines, and build robust supplier partnerships to enable rapid deployment for defense systems.

The role requires 3+ years in electromechanical hardware manufacturing, a strong quality mindset, and willingness to travel across sites to ensure smooth transitions from prototype to full-scale production.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or hard science.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design.
• Ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in resource-constrained environments.
• Commitment to quality, attention to detail, and mission focus.

Responsibilities

• Own the manufacturing value chain for Altius from current rate to high-volume deployment.
• Incorporate design for manufacturability feedback into product design and prototypes.
• Serve as manufacturing liaison for mechanical fabrication and avionics with DFx expertise.
• Document MBOMs, work instructions, and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with planning to meet capacity and timelines.
• Travel to suppliers and partner sites as needed for sourcing and issue resolution.
