Job summary

Nidec Corporation seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes in line with product specs and quality standards. You will coordinate launches, optimize robotics, capture data, and drive improvements across production teams.

Responsibilities include ensuring electrical utility knowledge, leading process control initiatives, and collaborating with design and sales to meet schedules and quality goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field required.
  • 0–3 years manufacturing experience.
  • Robotics and automation knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to analyze problems and improve processes.

Responsibilities

  • Owns knowledge of plant electrical utility service and distribution.
  • Maintain and optimize plant robotics (robotic welding).
  • Ensure data acquisition and archival of key processes (SQL server).
  • Lead efforts to implement process controls and monitoring on powder paint wash system.
  • Coordinate manufacturing launch for new or revised products.
  • Collaborate with management, design engineering and staff on production capabilities and schedules.
  • Cost-justify tools, machinery, and equipment for manufacturing methods.
  • Represent manufacturing engineering on cross-functional teams.
