Job summary

Helion, based in Everett, WA, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize rate-based capacitor production processes. In this onsite role reporting to the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering, you will collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to scale our first power plant and move toward generator mass-manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production systems.
• Hands-on engineering/manufacturing in rate-based manufacturing.
• Proven ability to influence partners across functions.
• End-to-end ownership of complex engineering or production scopes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement rate-based assembly processes with support from Production and Engineering.
• Manage interdisciplinary projects to increase rate and throughput of capacitor line.
• Develop new business processes such as non-conformance management and process control.
• Gather data to identify bottlenecks and deploy improvements.
• Identify ROI-capable capital equipment and software improvements.
• Collaborate on future processes while enabling higher output on current line.
