Job summary

Helion in Everett, WA seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize the production process for in-house capacitors. You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, and Test Operations on-site, reporting to the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering in Everett.

Responsibilities include designing rate-based assembly processes, reducing bottlenecks, and enabling higher throughput.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical work experience in production systems.
• Hands-on engineering or manufacturing experience in rate-based manufacturing.
• Experience communicating with and influencing partners across organizational lines.
• Experience in cradle-to-grave ownership of complex engineering or production scopes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement rate-based assembly processes with support from Production and Engineering.
• Manage interdisciplinary projects to increase rate and throughput of capacitor line (layout, tooling, cells, equipment).
• Develop new business processes such as non-conformance management, process control, safety, and asset maintenance.
• Gather data to identify bottlenecks and deploy design/process/equipment solutions.
• Identify high ROI capabilities and collaborate with multiple teams to implement.
• Collaborate on development of future processes to enable higher output on current line.
