Job summary

Steelcase is seeking a PD&L engineer to apply engineering principles to product development and launches at the Michigan manufacturing site, ensuring quality standards are implemented throughout the manufacturing process and handed off to production on schedule.

You will provide cost estimates, PPAP submissions, PFMEA, and standard work documentation while partnering with operations leaders to ensure a successful launch and handoff from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience applying lean manufacturing principles to influence cost and quality metrics.
• Knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA, and standard work documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities
