Qualifications

• Minimum of a 2 year associate's degree is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience designing or troubleshooting automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment is desirable.
• Familiarity with pneumatics, solenoids, and PLC programming is beneficial.
• Experience creating and maintaining 2D part/assembly drawings and understanding drawing tolerancing.

Responsibilities

• Designing and creating new assembly/test fixtures and inspection gauges.
• Hands on troubleshooting of current manufacturing equipment.
• Training and working closely with production associates.
• Communicating with the engineering design team.
• Generating ideas to improve processes and implement changes.
• Creating operator instructions for new equipment and processes.
• Investigating equipment purchases and preparing ROI presentations.
