Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling software.
• Experience designing tooling and fixtures.
• Familiar with lean principles – takt/cycle and 5S.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with leadership and floor teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
• Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new products, tools, or equipment.
• Lead improvement efforts for equipment reliability, tooling, process controls, and safety/ergonomic solutions.
• Develop work instructions & procedures to support operator training and process control.
• Interface with manufacturing and other support teams to meet EHS, production, quality, and cost savings goals within schedule and budget.
