Job summary

DuPont in Copley, Ohio seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to drive discrete-part manufacturing improvements. You will design, implement, and optimize processes and equipment to meet production goals and support new product trials.

You will collaborate with safety, quality, supply chain, TS&D, and maintenance teams; lead capital projects from planning to execution; develop SOPs and operating docs; and provide technical coaching to operators and engineering interns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering is required.
• Experience with process safety management and safety processes.
• Ability to lead, develop, coach and mentor others; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Support new product development and production trials, helping transition new products and process improvements into manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes and equipment, partnering with operations teams to improve safety, quality, cost, and overall plant performance.
• Lead and support continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and reliability initiatives to improve equipment and process performance.
• Participate in capital projects from planning through implementation and execution.
