Job summary

DuPont is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a discrete-parts plant in Valley View, OH. You will design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety, working with operations, QA, and R&D.

The role requires a mechanical or polymer engineering background, 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, and strong communication skills. You will support capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Polymer Engineering (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role or related industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for discrete-parts production.
• Provide daily technical support to Operations including process optimization and root cause analysis.
• Lead capital projects and coordinate with Ops and R&D on process improvements.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Commercial teams to meet customer specifications.
