Job summary

• Experience with safety processes and systems including safety improvement processes, audits and developing safe behaviors; SHE knowledge/experience.
• Able to organize and prioritize numerous complex tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills with customer focus are required.
• Strong knowledge base in extrusion technology is preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certified/Lean Manufacturing Methodology Knowledge desired

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive safety, quality and cost improvements at the Copley site.
• Lead and mentor operations staff and engineering interns to develop skills and capabilities.
• Manage capital projects from planning through execution and handover to operations.
• Develop and improve SOPs, maintenance procedures, and operating documentation.
• Identify energy reduction and efficiency opportunities across the site.
