Job summary

AISIN World Corp. of America in Seymour, IN seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support safety, quality and cost initiatives. This hands-on role involves examining equipment and processes, coordinating with quality, maintenance and manufacturing teams to drive improvements.

You will plan machine and process improvements, conduct root-cause analysis, prepare spare parts, and develop capital proposals for executive review, while ensuring timely delivery of divisional goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering.
• Experience with precision manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of GD&T and reading 2D blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement machine and process improvements for safety, quality and cost.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement countermeasures.
• Update engineering design and process planning sheets.
• Prepare spare parts based on MTBF and availability.
• Initiate setup and process capability studies.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to improve product cost.
• Develop capital acquisition proposals for executive review.
