Job summary

AISIN Texas in Cibolo, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide engineering support for manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and production systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, productivity and implement lean practices.

Responsibilities include design using 2D/3D CAD, supporting installation and ramp-up of new equipment, troubleshooting, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 1 year of experience in automotive manufacturing.
• PMP certification or Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and production systems.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability, safety, and quality.
• Support installation and ramp-up of new equipment including machine capability studies.
• Design and improve jigs, fixtures, tooling using 2D and 3D CAD.
• Apply lean manufacturing to improve cycle time, OEE, and productivity.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes and provide technical support.
• Maintain engineering documentation and drawings; present updates to leadership.
