Job summary

Premier Precision Machining PA, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes, improve part quality, and drive continuous improvement in our Erie County facility. You will leverage mechanical and industrial engineering expertise to develop efficient manufacturing solutions, implement automation, and support daily operations.

Responsibilities include CNC programming for lathe and mills, time standards, cost estimates, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher; minimum 5 years hands-on machining experience.
• Technical and computer skills required.
• Strong communication and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create part programs for CNC lathe/mill using CAM system.
• Establish time standards for processing parts.
• Develop manufacturing methods to optimize facility utilization.
• Analyze user data needs and interface with existing applications.
• Coordinate specification reviews and sign-off procedures.
• Coordinate implementation and training for new programs/systems.
• Assist operations with tool testing and machining procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex operations malfunctions and problems.
• Prepare cost analyses comparing actual vs estimates (material, labor).
• Create cost estimates from RFQs, drawings, and specs.
• Maintain travelers, setup sheets, and process logs for operations.
• Back up Sr. Manufacturing Engineer for Product Realization Reviews.
• Support R&D activities as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
