Eaton’s AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the Camarillo, CA site. This full-time role (Mon-Fri, Day shift) offers an annual salary range of $82,000 to $120,000, with the usual guidance based on skills and experience.

The position involves PROLaunch participation, process control documentation, and applying SAP, PFMEA, and SolidWorks to optimize manufacturing efficiency, quality and cost while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing engineering in a high-mix/low-volume environment preferred.
• Experience with PFMEA, control plans and producibility considerations.

Responsibilities

• Participate on PROLaunch teams and support the innovation process.
• Create, modify and maintain process control documentation with clear instructions.
• Analyze manufacturing capabilities to improve efficiency, quality and cost.
• Apply SAP and SolidWorks knowledge to drawings, tolerances and documentation.
• Assist senior designers with design reviews and package preparations (SRR, PDR, CDR, FDR).
• Ensure processes comply with procedures, requirements and ITAR; update procedures and mitigate safety risks.
