Job summary

Bartell Machinery Systems in New York is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Manufacturing Engineering Department. You will support process improvements, cost savings initiatives, and everyday production needs, using your training, education, and experience with limited direction.

The role requires teamwork, the ability to multi-task, and strong CAD skills (SolidWorks) along with knowledge of machining techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in an Engineering related field with at least 5 years of experience, or an Associate’s Degree in an Engineering Technology related field with at least 10 years of verifiable experience in a Manufacturing environment, or at least 15 years of verifiable experience in a Manufacturing environment with a HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of tolerances and general manufacturing practices and procedures.
• Interpersonal skills and experience to deal with all types of situations typical to a manufacturing environment.
• CAD (preferably SolidWorks).
• Knowledge of machining techniques, lathe, mill, grind, etc.
• Microsoft Office Products knowledge.
• Fluency in English.
