Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years related engineering experience, or 10 years as designer/technician.
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, motion controls and panel design.
Ability to create all drawings and documentation for assembly; strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

Advanced designs of new products or redesign existing products for schematics, control cabinets, layouts, etc.; hardware design of machine control systems.
Design, select, and implement electrical hardware components for manufacturing machinery production lines.
Provide accurate designs and bill of materials; adhere to project schedules.
Design within product specifications, mindful of cost, manufacturability, reliability and service needs.
Perform commissioning and debugging of products; energize machines safely for FAT.
Mentor junior engineers; lead team meetings, design reviews and kick-off sessions.
Interact with Manufacturing, Software, Mechanical, Field Service, Sales and Purchasing; ensure documentation and change control.
Travel up to 10%.
