Job summary

Hotstart Thermal Management, headquartered in Spokane, WA, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support growth of thermal management solutions. This role collaborates with production support and engineering design teams to better serve internal and external customers.

Responsibilities include developing and improving production systems, reducing costs, ensuring quality, leading cross-functional projects, providing technical support, and ensuring safety and PFMEA implementation.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to teach.
• Knowledge of design specifications, reading drawings, schematics, BOMs.
• Solid Modeling and Drafting experience desired.
• Ability to work under time constraints and in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve production systems; design and implement new equipment, processes, and procedures.
• Identify areas to reduce costs and increase efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure product quality; assist in root-cause analysis and resolve non-conformance.
• Manage projects from start to finish with plans, resources, tracking, and reporting.
• Provide technical support to production teams and help troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure manufacturing processes are safe and compliant.
• Develop and implement PFMEA’s.
• Create work instructions to support manufacturing of products.
