Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years in custom machinery, industrial equipment, or OEM product development.
• Strong ownership of complex mechanical designs from concept through production release.
• Advanced SolidWorks and documentation skills; ability to communicate design intent clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development and improvement projects from concept through production release.
• Design molded, cast, machined, sheet-metal, welded, sealed, and fluid-handling components and assemblies.
• Release SolidWorks models, drawings, tolerance analyses, BOMs, specifications, and engineering changes.
• Material balancing, DFM/DFA, tooling, cost, reliability, serviceability, and supplier capabilities.
• Perform calculations, prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Collaborate across teams, suppliers, and customers to improve performance, quality, cost, and manufacturability.
• Integrate mechanical, thermal, fluid, electrical, and control requirements.
• Occasional travel to visit customers, suppliers, field sites, and industry events, both domestic and international.
