Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Staff to lead process improvements across CCA and module assembly builds. The role focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes, implementing improvements, and ensuring efficiency, quality, and reliability.

Experience with MK48 program is a plus. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and document processes, providing technical guidance and mentoring to production staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Electrical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in CCA/subassembly/module manufacturing with process-improvement focus.
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly processes, tooling design, and QC methods.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to access equipment on the production floor and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with IPC standards and automation/robotics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize CCA and module manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
• Identify and implement process improvements in MK48 assembly area using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, fixtures, and stencils.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance.
• Develop training materials and provide guidance to production staff.
• Develop and track KPIs to measure process effectiveness and identify further improvements.
