MJ Recruiters, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Kenton, OH to join a fast-paced, climate-controlled plant. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team across multiple shifts, driving process improvements, new product launches, and capital equipment projects.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, blueprint reading, and hands-on floor involvement with a focus on uptime, quality, and efficiency. Local candidates preferred for this team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in engineering or closely related field.
• At least two years of fast-paced manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience initiating continuous improvement efforts.
• Project management experience with timelines.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D modeling tools and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support production by improving processes to raise efficiency and reduce scrap and downtime.
• Assist quality with root cause analysis, process controls, and SPC data.
• Use 2D/3D modeling to improve line layouts and fixtures.
• Support new product activities, documentation, and launch readiness.
• Assist maintenance with mechanical/electrical issue troubleshooting.
• Communicate with operations to improve KPIs and initiatives.
• Create work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
• Oversee capital equipment projects including cost justification and RFQs.
