Job summary

Holland Sharpe Inc. seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong process-improvement background to drive innovative production solutions.

You will lead process improvements, optimize workflows, and implement automation to boost quality and efficiency. In this fast-paced industrial environment, you will design layouts using AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Creo, lead cross-functional projects, perform root cause analysis, program PLCs and robotics, and apply Lean Six Sigma to cut waste while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; Six Sigma/Lean certification preferred.
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing engineering role within a factory setting.
• Strong CAD knowledge: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo; CAM programming experience.
• Hands-on with automation systems including PLCs, robotics, CNC, and welding/fabrication.
• Familiarity with GD&T and ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and refine manufacturing processes using CAD to design layouts and tooling.
• Lead project scheduling across cross-functional teams for process improvements and launches.
• Perform root cause analysis on production issues to resolve defects swiftly.
• Program and maintain automation systems including PLCs, robotics, CNC and vision systems.
• Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma to drive waste reduction and quality gains.
• Collaborate on assembly line setup, welding, and plastics molding processes.
• Analyze engineering data to monitor KPIs and ensure GD&T compliance.
