IDEX Health & Science LLC. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for Optical Systems & Sustaining Engineering in West Henrietta, NY.

You will drive transfer of optical technologies from development to scalable production while collaborating with R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. The role emphasizes new product introduction, manufacturing readiness, and sustaining engineering with hands-on process development, documentation, and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Optics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience maintaining existing products and scaling up production throughput.
• Experience leading transfer of technology from development into manufacturing.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes, documentation, and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition of new optical and laser-based products into manufacturing.
• Implement robust manufacturing processes, work instructions, test methods, and training.
• Collaborate with R&D during development to ensure manufacturability and scalability.
• Support qualification, validate processes and test stations prior to release.
