Job summary

PSCI in Orlando, FL seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Level 2 to support the Machining Operations Center. You will drive process improvements for small parts assembly, paint, and plating, and help translate drawings into detailed work instructions.

The role requires a BS in engineering, CAD proficiency (NX/CREO/SolidWorks), 3 years in production manufacturing, and US citizenship. This is a 9/19/2026 to 9/19/2027 contract, onsite, non-exempt, 4/10 workweek.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Basic understanding of CAD software such as Siemens NX, CREO, Pro Engineer, or SolidWorks (Experience: 3 years).
• Experience working in production manufacturing environment (Experience: 3 years).
• The candidate must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvements within small parts assembly, paint, and plating manufacturing areas.
• Interpret drawing requirements and create detailed work instruction documentation to support production needs.
• Perform root cause analysis of component non conformances and ensure implementation of effective corrective action.
• Create fixture and tooling concepts, drawings, and models.
• Identify, evaluate business case, and drive successful implementation of automation and IFF technologies.
• Participate in capital investment/equipment evaluation, selection, and project management.
• Provide shop floor support as necessary to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.
• Monitor and report on quality, schedule, and cost performance of assigned projects/programs.
