Job summary

Ferrotec (USA) Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the development, documentation, sustainment, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for precision mechanical and electromechanical products at our Livermore, CA facility.

Working under guidance from experienced engineers, you will assist with daily production support, assembly methods, tooling and fixtures, NPI, ECO/ECN, and process validation, while recording issues and implementing approved solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; related technical education and experience may be considered.
1–2 years manufacturing engineering or production-related technical experience, including internships or co-ops.
Exposure to semiconductor equipment or high-mix manufacturing is a plus.
Ability to manage technical issues from identification to corrective action and closure.

Responsibilities

Support daily production by addressing assembly, workmanship, material, tooling, and documentation issues.
Create and update work instructions, routings, process flows, standard work, and build records with engineering review.
Interpret drawings, BOMs, specifications, and GD&T to support repeatable assembly processes.
